Cover versions? Muppet.
Cover versions are fine, but it's best if they're not totally murdering the song! No mention yet for In My Time of Dying or the Rain Song

Best Led Zeppelin song(s)

Been listening to a lot of LZ recently, and am amazed to rediscover the variety of great stuff they produced. I would be interested to read what others think. Currently, my favourites are Since I've Been Loving You When the Levee Breaks No Quarter Fool in the Rain But tomorrow it could be a differen...

Re: Quitting the bottle

Well I decided I would have a drink on Xmas eve and Xmas day. So I did. Fell asleep after a bottle of wine, felt rough in the morning, and was actually relieved to go without on boxing day. To be honest, I was seeking to prove to myself that I could have a drink, the exact opposite of when I gave it...

I was really impressed with Horne after he came on today. Our attack seems to have more fizz with him on and his pace to the ruck and support lines prevent players getting isolated

Has anyone of any relevance in the world of rugby condemned this decision publicly? The wider repercussions in terms of what is acceptable in contact are horrendous.
Really impressed by the reactions of English posters on this.

Re: Law question- Farrell tackle

Would they have reached the same decision if the ref had issued a straight red on the field? This stinks, and presumably sets a precedent where any head contact is excused if another player is involved in the tackle

Re: The Official Scottish Rugby Thread

Pleased with that, all in all. Mind you it would have been gutting in a tournament. Our best 23 seems pretty clear, and the character to keep coming back from 2+ scores down is a credit to all of them. The great thing is we are still improving, and since we need to peak right at the start of the RWC...

Decent first half. Too many penalties given away but solid in defence. Line-out is a lot better. Might see more from the midfield as the game goes on

Dunno about WR stitching us up so much. We fucked up in 2019 and didn't deserve to get out of that group. I agree ire and sa are the two teams we are least likely to beat, even with our record against NZ. Just hope we can produce decent performances, and this really talented squad do themselves just...

Woakes, Wood and Ali in for Pope, Anderson and Tongue. So Brook at 3 and Stokes at 5. Pleased to see Wood there, but not sure of Brook up the order, and with Stokes hardly able to run the lower middle order is a worry

An old friend lost her fight to booze last week. 50 years old. Liver destroyed. Dead. Shit. Bloody hell, that's tough. It hits home as that could so easily have been me if I hadn't stopped. That was the case with my wife, at the age of 54. In the end she died in her sleep in our bed from a massive ...

This game is a step up from everything else today. Hate the Irish jerseys, but enjoying the way the ref is playing the breakdown.
