I have a vague memory of seeing Tom Kiernan play for the Barbarians - would have been early seventies I think but I can’t find any convenient record so may well be a false memory / imagining. Either way RIP : good player.

I was going to suggest that a point or two might be awarded but ending your own side’s scrum half might complicate that.duke wrote: Fri Feb 04, 2022 2:53 pmParticularly your ownHappyhooker wrote: Fri Feb 04, 2022 2:52 pm I'd go further. Think Borthwick made a big mistake taking off Burns. Hegarty is not a 10. Think Van Poortvliet would have been better there.
Absolutely. It seemed clear at the time it was a big risk. I think Borthers wanted to see if Hegarty could hack it ; he’s played 10 before of course. Well, he has his ...

Lest we forget, there were two instances of rule trashing around the safety car. It wasn’t just a brain fart in my opinion - his patronising dismissal of Toto’s objections was outrageous.

I would worry that (Sockwithaticket) might be too much change at once - I’d be happy to see Ben Youngs dropped for one of the young chargers ; I rate them both. 12 is tricky but I think I would go with Slade outside Smith and Malins would be on my bench.

Given we just had 2 bans for Exeter players over this, a controversial non-decision in the Quins-Bris semi and Tuilagi receiving a yellow after mitigation it's very much a live issue beyond PI players in the French league. Ref's in the Prem have been issuing yelows for things that would've been ...

Hendrix, Shirley. Unmistakeable.
I'd think Prince could have done a Hendrix piece and very few could have discerned the player. Aside from styles giving away many players, the other difficulty is "less is more" often, so much trickier to spot Prince playing a blues piece than Greg Lake going ...
