I thought it was going pretty well until the video started. CR was pretty calm and didn't raise the temperature, but perhaps he could have fought back a bit more.
I thought Steenhuisen and Els were both excellent.

I was at the Stormers game on Friday night, happened to be in town for work.
I must hand it to the locals, they really turn up in numbers and make it such a party atmosphere. It felt more like a 7s tournament. It obviously helps that you can walk to the Waterfront for beers and dinner too.

Why? Wasnt he diagnose with heart sickness while playing rugby? He didnt pass his medicals when trying to get a contract at the Stormers if I remember correctly. So the Bulls and Jake White decided otherwise.

This weekend we're taking our club on their tour. Well, it's an away fixture with overnight camping so may as well be a tour.
56 kids, from U5 to U13.
Managed to scratch together and get some kit made, a first for the club.

I'm inclined to agree with the team selection. Plum wasn't given much choice given the schedule. Can't risk our under-performing stars in a comp that is meaningless (I don't agree with teams dropping down from CC) when we are still in a good position in the URC.

In all honesty, I think it's absolutely outrageous that South Africa aren't locked-in hosts for one of these. They can also share some games with Zimbabwe and Namibia to make it a regional tournament.
