Re: The Official Scottish Rugby Thread
Kinghorn mentioned that he spent 9 years with Edinburgh and didn’t beat Leinster once. That is a sad indictment of Scottish club rugby. To be fair, within that 9 years there was a 6 year gap (between September 2017 and November 2023) where Kinghorn didn't play in any of Edinburgh’s games against Le...

Re: The Official Scottish Rugby Thread
Starting for the biggest club in Europe, ahead of Ramos, in the European Cup final, means he's one of the best about. As we already knew.
Delighted for him, seems to have kicked on being in France.
Toulouse also top of the table in France so the double is on for them

Re: The Official Scottish Rugby Thread
Blair Kinghorn to start for Toulouse in tomorrow's Champions Cup final. Good luck to the laddie, I really hope he plays a blinder. So much for all the doom merchants in Scottish Rugby whop were saying he'd be permanently on the bench behind Ramos. Got to admit I feared that a bit myself, but he's f...

From a Reuters journalist, if true could only be a sign of a tacit admission that the initial intended outcomes of the invasion cannot be realised. However, would also have to question the true motivation from the RU side for a ceasefire of course with regard to rebuilding forces for another go in ...

A bunch more Tory MPs now deciding they aren't going to stand in the GE is going to put a lot of pressure on HQ to get candidates in these constituencies, & further points to the chaotic way the decision was made. Still, I suppose there're a lot of Tory Councillors kicked out a couple of weeks ...

Becoming more and more obvious that Sunak called the election because more letters were already going in to Graham Brady to get rid of him. He’s just turned round and said ‘fuck you, if you’re going to stab me in the back, let’s see if you keep your jobs’. Cue outrage internally in the party and lot...

Except there were another three in 2017, two in 2018, one more in 2019 and another 7 since 2020. So not very, very small. On average two or three a year in that time period, so the likelihood of there bieng something in a two month spell is about 1 in 3. You're right that does seem like a lot. Does...

Most of the country is undeveloped. It's not as if slightly increasing the very low % with housing on it will kill all the bees. Besides which measures such as paying farmers to create wildflower meadows/fallow fields is a far better way to help bees than stopping houses being built. The problem wi...

I use a cafetiere when the missus wants a mug of coffee as well, otherwise an aeropress if its just for me. I have a Bialetti stove top and I bought a milk kettle for £30 during the pandemic. They make a great cup of coffee. These machines are just kitchen clutter imo. Pods are fucking expensive too. Yeah, but that's the thing people can complain about - they're fine with it being a problem in Scotland but not in England. I suspect the Tories just didn't know the Scottish school holidays would have already started. Not so much deliberate, just ignorant. Which is amazing in itself. And goes back...
