Favorite soda (fizzy pop)
These were favs when I was a kid, but stopped drinking when I learned how much sugar they squeezed into them.

Reminds me of when I worked in a snack bar. Lady comes up and asks: "Can I get a root beer?" "Sure, is MUG okay?" "Oh, can't I just get it in a can?"

You see, whatever anyone says this is the correct answer. Glass bottle of course.
Of course you all know which is the only country in the world where a coca-cola made drink is not the top seller?

Actually there are various countries in the Middle East where Coca-Cola is less popular.Slick wrote: Thu Apr 29, 2021 7:22 amYou see, whatever anyone says this is the correct answer. Glass bottle of course.

Pretty much every fizzy drink (except mineral fizzy water which are usually extremely salty thus unhealthy as well).Calculon wrote: Thu Apr 29, 2021 8:06 am Isn't Fanta more popular than coke in Germany? I used to drink far too much coke till I went cold turkey and gave it up. I also did a study in a coca cola bottling plant and the amount of sugar they go through is insane
Still a Coca-Cola made drink.Calculon wrote: Thu Apr 29, 2021 8:06 am Isn't Fanta more popular than coke in Germany? I used to drink far too much coke till I went cold turkey and gave it up. I also did a study in a coca cola bottling plant and the amount of sugar they go through is insane
I think one of the best things I have accidentally done as an adult is get in the habit of never drinking carbonated sugary drinks. Probably avoided quite a few kilos of excess weight.
OK, Scotland can join the hallowed ranks of North Korea and Cuba.Slick wrote: Thu Apr 29, 2021 7:58 amShut it.robmatic wrote: Thu Apr 29, 2021 7:48 amActually there are various countries in the Middle East where Coca-Cola is less popular.Slick wrote: Thu Apr 29, 2021 7:22 am

Is Irn Bru more popular because it's basically the smack of soft drinks? The amount of sugar in it was insane.
Like I said, I don't really drink soft drinks but I was back in the UK a couple of years ago and got a hankering for a Fanta while I was out with the parentals and bought one. Turns out that British drinks have been diet-ed and have that awful taste of sweetener now? Eurgh.
They have ruined Irn-Bru in the same way, don't touch it now.robmatic wrote: Thu Apr 29, 2021 8:34 am Like I said, I don't really drink soft drinks but I was back in the UK a couple of years ago and got a hankering for a Fanta while I was out with the parentals and bought one. Whenever I head back to NZ my first stop is straight to the fridge for this badboy

An ice cold L&P really is one of the most refreshing soft drinks you can get.

L&P is pretty good but I reckon lemon soda is the best pop going.
Lift or Solo. Nice and cold on a hot day. A few gulps of the good stuff...ahhhh.
