Socks
Some bastard of a manufacturer has decided to put a L and a R on the new sports socks I bought recently. Now I have to spend ages making sure I pair them up after washing them and to make sure they go on the correct feet. This is causing me no end of pain and worry! Wish I could be like my son who rarely wears a matching pair of socks and doesn't seem to give a shit about it either.
Well don't buy Bridgedale hiking socks, they have the letter L stitched in the bottom of both of them. I have no idea why but it drives me mad!!!!dpedin wrote: Tue Jun 01, 2021 12:43 pm Some bastard of a manufacturer has decided to put a L and a R on the new sports socks I bought recently. Not particularly and they do come in shoe sizes and not S, M, L or XL. But now you mention it I will check

I bought a near metric ton of sports/running socks last summer. Can I find any of them now? My arse I can. At best there are three odd individual socks.
I do. Good shout. Message to self, be more specific.

Question needs taking out and shooting. Do you meanGlobus wrote: Tue Jun 01, 2021 8:24 pm There are ten socks and ten more, both green and red in a drawer. How many do you need to pull out (blindfold) until you are absolutely sure you have a pair?
- 10 green socks in a drawer
- 10 red socks in the SAME drawer

Then you must pull 3 to be certain. Assuming they are not lefts and rights.........
