Nah, he moved to the northern end of NZ, a long way from any earthquakes.
Three years.
It’s one of those events that no matter how much time passes we will remember clearly. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so homesick as watching that unfold (feeling removed and helpless as your home town suffers).

Deeply shocking. The fact a massacre larger in scale than Port Arthur and not far behind Las Vegas in terms of casualties could happen in Christchurch was deeply troubling for any Cantabrian, your correspondent included.
