I not sure why you think that, he's shown no problems coming into line at midfield when playing 15. I prefer him at 15 myself, just because he the type of 15 I like at test level, perhaps a liitle more that Jordan. Not a biggie, and not knocking Will Jordan, just what I think is best for test at 15.

I don't see a really tall, relatively slender 12 working that well in the cut and thrust of modern test rugby which promotes a fast rush defence and lots of heavy contact in the inside channels.

I’m not watching the game, way out in the sticks right now…. But this is something of a trademark for Leon MacDonald. When the Blues nail it they do it this way. Rangi and Razor coaching the ABs would be a thing of beauty.
