Super Rugby Pacific
Those filler music cunts need a good kicking. It's not like the whole crowd's joyously singing along in unison ffs.

Quin Tupea being a dickhead. Will this jeopardize his All Black chances? Rieko Ioane used to be the goat at rubbing it in. But he's dropped that now.

Aussie teams are 10 from 53 in the first two years of Super Rugby Pacific. Its like the bad old nineties when the Cheetahs and Lions would get one or two wins a season against the Aussie and New Zealand sides.
The Cheetahs and Lions were never serious contenders then. This year, the Brumbies still are.FalseBayFC wrote: ↑Sat Jun 04, 2022 9:38 am Aussie teams are 10 from 53 in the first two years of Super Rugby Pacific. Just caught up with the Bunglies v Canes game. Anyone want to offer an explanation why one challenge was red and the other only yellow? With this stupid 20 min law, it made no difference but in the real world, that level of inconsistent reffing would have seen the Bunglies out.

As an aside, anyone out there who thinks Smith is still ahead of Fakatava? Or anyone in NZ at present.
Really enjoyed the Blues/Landers game. Spotlight on the FHs
- BB suddenly remembered how to run. But his aerial kicking was mainly mehhhh again
- but he got gold from is as his opposite had a nightmare under the high ball

I thought both should be red... technically they decided that the second was yellow cause it was chest to chest just before head to head... bizarre really...Torquemada 1420 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 04, 2022 1:12 pm Just caught up with the Bunglies v Canes game. I hate this shit creeping in. Teammates running in to celebrate conning the ref for a pen, then subs doing it, then backpats on the opposition, now this.FalseBayFC wrote: ↑Sat Jun 04, 2022 9:22 am Quin Tupea being a dickhead. Justified a reverse embarrassment. I'm not one for violence, but would support him being pantsed or jersied.

I agree, it's unnecessary. Tupaea just comes across as a dickhead.

Oddly, it's something you rarely see in French rugby.Jimmy Smallsteps wrote: ↑Sun Jun 05, 2022 3:55 am I agree, it's unnecessary. Tupaea just comes across as a dickhead.

To be fair, I'd rather have my head rubbed after making a mistake than have my eyes gouged or balls twisted.Torquemada 1420 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 05, 2022 10:39 amOddly, it's something you rarely see in French rugby.Jimmy Smallsteps wrote: ↑Sun Jun 05, 2022 3:55 am I agree, it's unnecessary. It's a particularly Australian sort of thing to do... and our players would do well to consider that. No Kiwi wants to be labelled an Australian.Torquemada 1420 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 05, 2022 10:39 amOddly, it's something you rarely see in French rugby.Jimmy Smallsteps wrote: ↑Sun Jun 05, 2022 3:55 am I agree, it's unnecessary. Kiwi Rugby players are the Australian cricketers of Rugby. Cheaters, dirty, and classless. It is self evident that you are not the spiritual guardians of the game. What is also self evident is that you have a chip on your shoulder the size of the moon when it comes to Australia.
Let it go. Can't be good for your health. Aren't you an old man now.....

Reading your post reminded me of that age old internet principle...
Never argue with an idiot, they'll drag you down to their level and flog you with experience....
good luck getting over whatever it is that burns you about Kiwis.

Well. that kinda was my point. If you'd done that in a French game it would have been seen as too girlie and maybe a mass brawl would have ensued so I guess self policing. Thankfully the gouging and grabbing is a thing of the past at the higher levels.Jimmy Smallsteps wrote: ↑Sun Jun 05, 2022 9:56 pmTo be fair, I'd rather have my head rubbed after making a mistake than have my eyes gouged or balls twisted.Torquemada 1420 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 05, 2022 10:39 amOddly, it's something you rarely see in French rugby.Jimmy Smallsteps wrote: ↑Sun Jun 05, 2022 3:55 am I agree, it's unnecessary.
