Great effort from our bowlers. 134. This is time for Bavuma to get us there.

Black Caps and Proteas heading the pools. The Proteas play Pakistan on thursday. If we knock them over they are gone.

Some very weak shots up top from Ireland. Have to wonder what a finish this could have been if one other bloke had shown Tucker's application.

Tucker needs to get back on strike, but if he can this is far from over...

Ireland need 44 runs in 17 balls.

Ireland doing a great job since it's limiting how much Aus can repair their dire net RR.

DOH! wicket.
136/9 - Ire need to see out the remaining overs and get closer.

Dumb cricket from Ireland. Tucker should have taken one, the two tail enders admittedly outclassed but going at it the wrong way and then they take a single off the last ball that leads them into a suicidal single to get Tucker back on strike again.
Coupled with some pretty poor bowling at points I sense Ireland will see this as a huge opportunity blown. Thanks for helping us on NRR though

He went for a duck previous game.

That's what happens with big hitters. When you get in you go big. But it's difficult for these talents to play themselves in. They want to go big from first ball.

Fantastic effort. Phenomenal.

A pity my kids didn't play the same years as him . Would love to have seen him in action

I watched the highlights of that knock. His balance is perfect. His eyes are on the ball, head down. I sent the clip to my boys. They need to watch that.

This is a must win for England, isn't it? Win with a good NRR and Aus will battle. Although Eng still have Sri Lanka.

Excellent game of cricket so far. Could have used with Buttler having more of the strike.

Key partnership here. Break it and England ought to be unassailable, if they're still here in 8 overs we're in the shit.
