Fuck. Young out already and Willis running around wincing is not good.

Such a stupid pen to give away having secured that position.

Underhill if anything looks more physically impressive than before the shutdown.
Great back row contests so far.

When he gets it right Feikitoa can absolutely annihilate in the tackle, it's great to see.
Replays of that clearout on Young from early in the game look cardable to me with my Wasps hat on...

Squandered hard won field position again...
We're very clearly not trying to maul against this Bath pack.

Gah, that needed to lead to something. Great break from Kibirige, but our handling inside their 22 has been gash.
Oh good, another injury to a first team player

Fucking hell, Oghre down too. Butcher's bill is incredibly high for 33 minutes gone.

Yeah and good on Barnes for the way he handled that interaction, I'm not sure all refs would have made him feel that comfortable saying so and contravening coaches. Not sure why the Wasps staff member felt able to speak so confidently on his behalf.JM2K6 wrote: Mon Aug 31, 2020 2:47 pm Fair play to the emergency hooker for admitting he wasn't up to it.

Given the way this game started, the injury situation and having no hooker anymore I will happily take a draw at half time.

I'm going to enjoy looking up Willis' turnover stats after the game. I make it 4 now?

Our attitude and appetite in defence has been fantastic.

Robson's option taking at various breaks in play has been fantastic.
Not sure if my stream is delayed... but after West scored. Very quick shot of JJ telling the water carrier (I think) "... off!" and pointing back with his thumb.
I wondered if that was a message intended for management "Get him off!" ... not sure who but it certainly looked to be more of an internal message relay rather than anything to do with that last play.
And now Dunn's off?

That's an incredibly disappointing try to concede given how much hard work we've done.
I'm not a fan of the sheer off but Willis joining just before they broke away seemed to legitimise it. I'd hope Barnsey would have told them to use it if they'd sheered and no one was there (but sometimes see that clear truck and trailer 'ignored' as 'well, the defence broke away so same maul')

That Launch hit on De Glanville is a bit of a physics lesson.

kick it up the end of the fucking field. I've seen us screw this playing out the clock game too many times...

Huge result. Basically an 8 pointer given our table positions.
Having got into the Kiwis' SRA and then coming back to this is like night and day. I've only been watching highlights tbf but I think Quins v Saints was the only one that looked like teams actually moving the ball about and running it. I watched Bath v Saints last week and it was a lot of this. One out, conservative, hoping for the pen kick.
People complain about League's bosh ups, but at least they limit that to four or five. Union, you can get 10+ with little territory gained. Watching this, still seeing players sealing off at the breakdown, it's no wonder they all do it, though. Almost guaranteed possession, ref looking at defenders infringing at the breakdown and offside, kick to the corner (if not a shot at goal), very difficult to stop the driving maul.

Think I would have given Robson MotM. His decision making and direction after losing the two hookers was exceptional.
Agree, don’t think I’ll be renewing my monthly BT Sport subscription, I didn’t miss rugby this muchNiegs wrote: Mon Aug 31, 2020 4:03 pmHaving got into the Kiwis' SRA and then coming back to this is like night and day. BT comms seemed to think the fact Oghre went off with a head injury as a factor.
