Sad news , bit before my time but I know those at a local friendly rival Bracknell spoke well of him as head coach

Oh dear! Diagnosed with MND last year. As well as his Wasps and England career he put a lot back in to junior rugby with Bracknell and Slough

That's sad. Not sure how old he was when he played for England but I remember watching him as a teenager and thinking he was fairly old even then. How old was he?

Ahh shit, have avoided this thread as I thought it was about some stupid comic book or something

Genuinely sad about this. Met him a few times back in the day at Wasps, Slough and as a good mate of a mate of mine, and always a gentleman. One of the players that was around and accessible when I first fell in love with rugby
