Looks like it. Giving Ravindra 8+ overs is silly, he's not a wicket-taking bowler.

Worried that this is giving the rain a chance to roll in.

Our bowling unit is just pants outside of Boult and Santner.

Finally all out for 171.

10 overs and 50 runs too late, but still NZ should get this total at a cruise.

If we crawl past this target, it is safe to say that no team in the knockouts will be fearing having to face us.

Injuries haven't been great - but we seem to be in an odd sense of decline.

Unsure how you beat a team by 5 wickets with 160 balls remaining and still look scratchy.

But great to be in the knockouts (barring a truly stupendous result from 1 of the remaining 2 games)

Not sure how this work. Black Caps have a .763 run rate vs Pakistan .036. Pakistan obvious have to beat England. Afghanistan the Proteas.

I think they need to bat first and then win by around 280ish runs.

Today its Proteas vs Afganistan. Nothing in this one for both teams. Afganistan need a 438-run victory against South Africa to push New Zealand out of fourth place on net run rate is impossible. Proteas can use this as a trial run batting second and lift themself after the India drubbing.

SA get home with 5 wickets to spare. Once the Afghan spinners were done, Pheklokwayo whacked us home.

Only because they only have Zampa as a decent spinner. 3 spinners against Afghanistan nearly screwed us. We like pace bowling!

I don't think I've ever seen runouts replayed as much as this, ever.

Smart batting. At this rate Bangladesh is going to set a tough target.

Still a good total, better than I expected at least. Runs on the board, etc. Doesn't impact the comp, but makes it a better game for those invested in it.

Proteas looking likely to break their drought and win a Cricket World Cup.

To go along with the Springboks winning the Rugby World Cup.
