Been listening to a lot of LZ recently, and am amazed to rediscover the variety of great stuff they produced. I would be interested to read what others think.

Currently, my favourites are
Since I've Been Loving You
When the Levee Breaks
No Quarter
Fool in the Rain

But tomorrow it could be a different selection entirely

Ten Years gone - love that track. Would easily make my top 10 favourite songs.

Dunno where it stems from (probably too many drunken, wasted nights or road trips being blasted by someone's overloaded speakers) but generally I can't stand them... just the whole bloated, posing rock god thing I guess, but I do like Going to California.

Bron-Yr-Aur for me.

A lovely piece of music.

I remember when I spent 2 semesters in the US at college, coming in after smoking a joint with my room mate and the song coming on while we were both mindlessly scrolling on our phones/laptops in silence, and when the song finished, him saying across the room with his bloodshot eyes, "that was fucking beautiful man."

One of those, You Had To Be There Moments, but it always stuck with me, and tbf he was correct.
Ian Madigan for Ireland.

Cover versions are fine, but it's best if they're not totally murdering the song! No mention yet for In My Time of Dying or the Rain Song

I had visions of you in the 70s with your long hair and side burns... and then you mentioned scrolling... :lolno:

Was first song of their s that I really knew. Got into them for a few years , then kind of drifted away from being a fan really.

Which in this case they're not. So, yeah.

I posted this on the Acceptable Cover Versions thread a few weeks ago.

Good effort for a bunch of school kids, imho.

I'm not a huge Plant fan either, but you can't really separate the singer from the band.
