Was a bit hazy here and street light glow didn't help, could see some colour, but not clear annoyingly..
I love watching little children running and screaming, playing hide and seek in the playground.

It was amazing, but missed it. But I managed to catch it well enough on my all sky timelapse camera.
Threads feed is full of amazing photos.

Remarkably visible in southern Northumberland. Visible to the naked eye too.

Dammit, I fell asleep.

Is it likely to be lasting until tonight?

Ironically went further north for the weekend (Portsoy) and saw nothing. They could have been spectacular, but we were tucked up in the camper van and saw nada

Had no idea there was any chance of it, and went to bed far too early to see it by chance

We spent a good while looking the wrong way and getting utterly pissed off as photos were rolling in from everyone. Eventually checked the front of the house and there it was 😂. Who knew the Northern Lights weren’t in the north

I went out about 10.30 hoping to see them but they were only visible after 11pm.

Friday and Sunday nights will have good solar activity, Saturday was very low. Sadly it’s cloudy in UK tonight.

We stopped at Pendle Hill on the way home last night, it was packed but there was little to see, much better pictures on Friday from our back garden.

The good part of being down here is that these are visible by 6.30pm and we don't have to wait for never ending twilight to piss off.

No. But I'd rather experience it with my own eyes... went driving all over North Yorkshire Sat night... staring skyward... like a demented peeping Tom.
