To do so would be a dereliction of duty to the populous.

It's a vicious Catch 22 to which I see no solution.

Life of Brian is legitimate satire though. What's more, it isn't a critique of Christ or necessarily Christianity itself, but rather of Christian institutions and the misinterpretation and abuse of scripture/faith. It did inspire actual debate (quite famously of course).

I don't differentiate between the religion of psychopaths (even if they themselves do), nor do I ascribe the beliefs of the fundies across the entire bored of a faiths adherents.
