Wasps may be the only hope since their oppo are a covid ravaged Dragons outfit.
We've looked pretty ropey so far this season, but with our internationals back and the Welsh lot more debilitated than usual, we should have enough?
Bath are the slightly more up-market Gloucester, change my mind.

Brizzle can count themselves unlucky they came up against ASM determined to win. They'd have beaten any of the other Fre sides on current form with poss exception of Toulouse.ASMO wrote: Sat Dec 12, 2020 5:15 pmNone of them deserved to, they are enacting Brexit earlySaintK wrote: Sat Dec 12, 2020 5:12 pmBrainlesssockwithaticket wrote: Sat Dec 12, 2020 5:08 pm![]()
Couldn't score in a whorehouse. Convinced their muscle is enough.

After the knock on, for his next trick Vincent rushes up out of the line: try Leinster.Torquemada 1420 wrote: Sat Dec 12, 2020 5:36 pm Sums up Vincent. Just no idea what Galthie sees in him.![]()

I think we've found another French team with a full back who can't catch a high ball.
Do they practice it in training ?

Poite - "That's the last time I manage you"
Please let it be so. The less coaching refs do the better.
Scrappy game so far.

And then runs a good line for a clean break......... and f**ks it up with a miserable pass.Torquemada 1420 wrote: Sat Dec 12, 2020 5:38 pmAfter the knock on, for his next trick Vincent rushes up out of the line: try Leinster.Torquemada 1420 wrote: Sat Dec 12, 2020 5:36 pm Sums up Vincent. It's not just the FBs. And no. Never. Dulin caught more high balls in the Eng game than an entire T14 squad would catch in a season.fishfoodie wrote: Sat Dec 12, 2020 5:39 pm I think we've found another French team with a full back who can't catch a high ball.

TBF to Rattez
- he is normally pretty good
- and he's not a FB. He's a wing but Bouthier is out injured.

Brain dead from Dragons 14. Had him covered, no need to do it without the arms, let alone as a full on shoulder charge.

Blatant knock on by Haouas before the pen given.
Also a pass that was 2yds fwd from McGrath earlier. Officials not being particularly sharp.

Cracking try to break the deadlock of endless set piece errors.
That's what we've been missing without Robson - elite level distribution and decision making to get our attack humming.

Only 2 (more) fwd passes in the build up to that try. Both offloads to the man on the touchline.

That is a pen and a stupid one, but how is Nigel Owens allowed to be TMO for a game involving a Welsh side?
And I recall Tempest was TMO in the Bath game.
Have we abandoned nationality restrictions due to covid or is this something I've just missed until now?

Now calling a maul turnover despite the ball being easily playable. Any dragons fans feel free to join in. These non native English speaking refs...

I've never argued that Fre refs are great. But don't whine about Poite because he bummed Wales when Eng won that game.

Nah, I assume its just the difficulties of Covid making getting a full set of neutral officials for every gamesockwithaticket wrote: Sat Dec 12, 2020 6:02 pmHas this always happened and passed me by or is it new?fishfoodie wrote: Sat Dec 12, 2020 6:01 pmthree french officials in the Montpellier v Leinster Game, only the Ref neutralsockwithaticket wrote: Sat Dec 12, 2020 5:59 pm That is a pen and a stupid one, but how is Nigel Owens allowed to be TMO for a game involving a Welsh side?

Oof, just a bit too much on Bassett's second touch there. Very nearly a well worked try.
The cross field kick was craxking from Atkinson.

I fucking love Josh Bassett. And Robson, of course.
On his good days Sopoaga can be pretty handy.

Tough call. Neither side has been playing well but maybe Ed form distorted by the loss of players to AIs whereas not the same impact upon LaR.
IMHO, the breakdown will decide this. If Ed keep the ball away from rucks, think they will edge it. Get into a battle at the breakdown and Aldritt, Gourdon and Liebenberg will murder them there.

They thrashed Brive.
Anyhow first round in Europe is always Kack for English clubs.

What in the fuck is this comm wittering on about downgraded from a red due to the slip in height? It was never anywhere near that.
No arms tackle - absolutely, but that's it. Little surprised it's a yellow tbh since it was a passive bracing for impact of the carrier rather than an active tackle as with the Dragons player in the first half.

Think I'd rather ref and tmo be neutral, then ars can be less than neutral. Don't think it'll have a huge effect on games but would look better.

Jesus, if we could do something other than knock on or concede a penalty from one of Barbeary's carries we'd be bossing this. He's savage.

Luckily for us, Dragons seem to be aiming for the same thing.
