Actually cannot think of another time this has happened.
How do you feel about your part in it?Torquemada 1420 wrote: Sun Dec 13, 2020 8:33 amActually cannot think of another time this has happened.

Proud if you are suggesting my criticism was enough to draw the game's administrators to this site. Pretty sure nothing you've ever posted would have had the same effect.Slick wrote: Sun Dec 13, 2020 10:25 amHow do you feel about your part in it?Torquemada 1420 wrote: Sun Dec 13, 2020 8:33 amActually cannot think of another time this has happened.

C'mon. It ceased being that once it became professional and £millions were involved. As a Quins fan, you are as aware of that as anyone.JM2K6 wrote: Sun Dec 13, 2020 12:15 pm A real shame. Sadly some fans are literally incapable of treating sport like a sport, or understanding that officials have a tough job, and descend into hysteria, paranoia, and death threats all too easily.
It's just a game, people.
Still just a game as far as the punters are concerned, they're not the ones laying the millions.Torquemada 1420 wrote: Sun Dec 13, 2020 12:21 pmC'mon. And people like you are at fault. What a disgrace.
Genuinely sad that someone who has followed rugby for as long as you takes that attitude.Torquemada 1420 wrote: Sun Dec 13, 2020 12:21 pmC'mon. Why don't you complain to them directly then instead of pissing all over the match threadsTorquemada 1420 wrote: Sun Dec 13, 2020 12:20 pmProud if you are suggesting my criticism was enough to draw the game's administrators to this site. We should remember this the next time some half cut dickhead starts chewing people’s ears off about how rugby attracts a higher class of person than football.

I didn't say I Iiked it. The reverse is true. Merely stating a fact.Slick wrote: Sun Dec 13, 2020 1:02 pmGenuinely sad that someone who has followed rugby for as long as you takes that attitude.Torquemada 1420 wrote: Sun Dec 13, 2020 12:21 pmC'mon. I know it's the digital era but the world really isn't binary. The fact that there are scumbags in rugby doesn't make it anywhere near as bad as wendyball. We don't have sh*t like this:Paddington Bear wrote: Sun Dec 13, 2020 1:13 pm We should remember this the next time some half cut dickhead starts chewing people’s ears off about how rugby attracts a higher class of person than football.

I also have my suspicion that some of the worst elements have come from football just as they occasionally poison cricket.
Sure we do. They just don't boo - on the messageboards and social media they're still vocal opponents to this sort of thing.Torquemada 1420 wrote: Sun Dec 13, 2020 1:58 pmI know it's the digital era but the world really isn't binary. No True Scotsman, eh?I also have my suspicion that some of the worst elements have come from football just as they occasionally poison cricket.
Lots of rugby fans are also football fans. Lots of rugby fans are cunts.

It takes some neck to talk about how the bad eggs in rugby are actually football fans when last week you were talking about how you wished Brace would get hit by a bus

Maybe you need to get out of your cosy, posh neighbourhood and go to a football match. You have no idea what you are talking about. It's not even vaguely close.Paddington Bear wrote: Sun Dec 13, 2020 2:16 pm It takes some neck to talk about how the bad eggs in rugby are actually football fans when last week you were talking about how you wished Brace would get hit by a bus

You have no idea what my living situation is.
In normal times I go to the football at least once a month, I’m not disputing the existence of bellends there, I’m pointing out we have plenty of our own.

Feel for Bracey - he’ll know that he missed a couple of things during the ENG/FRA game and as a result of the fucktarded abuse he’s received, that he’s been removed from a game due to concerns for his safety. That’s an appalling situation we have.
Anyone trying to justify the bad behaviour of the abusers or try to deflect that football supporters are worse, deserve the contempt they receive
