On my phone so will struggle linking, but there's a decent article on the NYT at the moment where he talks about how he broke the pentagon papers story and the interaction with Ellsburg. Did the interview in 2015 on the proviso that it was published after his death.

Bright Shining Lie is an incredible piece of work. Read it as a teenager and it has stuck with me since.
