Just when you thought you didn't need another reason to hate the Saders, they've gone and banned cowbells from the Final.
Home field not enough of an advantage?

C’mon, they deserve a final without the damned things.
If the Chiefs are good enough they won’t need them and they certainly didn’t help when the Saders came and beat them at home last time they played a final.

The Great Cowbell Scandal of 2025 will no doubt live on in the memory long after the final score is forgotten...

The Crusaders squad to play the Final at the cow-bell free stadium this Saturday, Springer replacing Fihaki who is not even in the squad.

A travesty so heinous it led tonight's TV sports news!
Think I'd rather listen to cowbells than the shit they pump out of the PA systems these days, tbh.

Well, you wouldn't hear the cowbells at FMG for the screeching over the PA, as we witnessed when they
ahhh
choked, to the Blues.
You also wouldn't hear them if they played in Wellington, as they're banned there as well. I guess it's just the whole Canterhate thing that obscures these simple, innocent

What's the bet it's not cowbell free?

The Crusaders CEO was on the radio talking about the other day apparently and just told everyone to get a cowbell app on their phones…
They’re enjoying this as much as anyone. Country needs a sense of humour injection.

Am I right in thinking that all of the Saders championships were won with either DC, Mehrts or Richie Mo'unga at 10?

You're correct - a team needs a top Fly Half to win a title??

Cruden was the Chiefs one for it's two titles.
Yep, it helps get the silverware when you've got good'uns like those at 10.
Thought Colin Slade might've been in the mix - he started there quite a bit when DC was injured or on sabbatical, iirc. But maybe that coincided with Todd Blackadder being in charge, and trying to turn him into a wing instead?
