The bounce saved us there. Ireland look great with ball in hand ✋️.

This is going to be a good one

Josh Ioane just isn’t a first class first five.

Irish playing offside a lot trying to get speed in defense.

Irelands tactics.
Right guys, we’re playing a running team so make sure we kick everything in our half and keep all the kicks in play. We’ll then keep the penalty count low as we win the ball back.

I thought they’d blown but the back row guys recovered it well

This could get ugly for Ireland

WhyTF are Ireland kicking everything back to them in play. The M all blacks are going to run it back.
Ireland are being totally negative and hoping the opposition make mistakes.

Great start to the tour guys.

Ireland's defense is far to weak. They'll need to patch it up otherwise it's going to be a very long tour

Really good first half and nice seeing the MAB being a force again - even if against a very ‘B’ Ireland side.

Bryn Hall's got a great future in commentary after he retires if he wants to chase it, excellent work from him tonight as usual.

Ireland B very rushed, too messy.

I keep hearing the commentators say the 'Mighty All Blacks', and feel like the Mighty Ducks will run on any moment

Pronunciation...

Maori is pronounced Mow Ri, not Marri.

It's the commentators who are struggling with the pronunciation, not us!

Yup...

there's still a lot of that here. I'm working on my pronunciation but a lot of public figures clearly struggle.

Last Ireland attack from their 22 was looking really good…. So decided to kick it to MAB to let them have a go.

Williams on for Norris, who I thought had a very good game. Two top young looseheads.

Pleasantly surprised at the cohesion from the MABs. Their pack was a good, power unit after an early slip up. Lineout was strong. Backs were excellent, some real power on the wings and

You want to be able to chat about play during the game... but that would drown everything out.

I hope none of those Irish injuries were as bad as they looked.

A game of two halves, to a large extent if not quite on the scoreboard. The Maori protected their first half points haul with an outstanding third quarter on defence, when Ireland looked like they were going to break the game open at any moment. That period after HT was the difference imho.

He's a very good fullback, but he looks to me like he could be an exceptional 10.

He moves into a closer receiving role nicely... but my gut says that would be a robbing Peter to pay Paul scenario. I like him at 15.
