I am just so bloody glad we have it in case we need it.
Even NSW has come to the party without the deluge of deaths the opposition claimed would happen. Actually don't know anyone who has gone down this road, but the day care I visit weekly has pamphlets available on request.

None of you are prepared to make the statement that the awful suffering some people go through is more important to you than preventing and protecting people from being coerced into early deaths.
I would happily make that statement, sing it from the rafters even.
me too, haven't read this legislation but maybe try it and if there are too many people killing of gramps and gran it can be amended or scrapped

So Calculon is ok with 100 people being murdered each year to enable assisted dying. Is that number true for everyone else, or is it higher / lower?

Some very emotive language and straw manning. Part of the reason you're not being debated seriously.

First vote in HoC passed by 330 to 275 - have to say I'm surprised it go through.

Quite a bit of process to go through yet though, so maybe some of the issues will be ironed out.
