The gulf in the teams was drastic. Sharks looked like a club side. The absence of our Boks was just too much and our depth is very worrying.

Jake White's procurement policy looks set to pay dividends. I foresee their contribution to the Boks will be minimal, meaning he can put out a strong squad in the URC.

Glad that shitshow of a tournament is over.
It's finals...we either push it to the end or have a complete blowout. With 12 players on bok duty it was always going to be a challenge but there is absolutely no excuse. I feel we are lacking in our on field leadership currently. It just doesn't feel right. There is absolutely no passion or pride. We need to get that back again.

Sharks backup players is far weaker then WP. We score 5 tries against the Bulls in the semi final and got near in the end. Sharks never look like scoring, Tarzan got so frustrated, diving on other players. le Roux Roets and GG failed miserably. Bart Simpson lives on another planet.

If I have to worry about WP, x100 for the Sharks supporters.

Sharks should be better in the URC with the Boks back. Lets all hope it's not another case of the Sharks falling short in the Currie Cup, only to be the best SA side in the international provincial/franchise competition and also fall short there. We must all hope the Sharks do well in the URC.
Yeah, as much as I dislike the Sharks, when it comes to URC I’ll be supporting every SA side against NH opposition. It’s us vs them.
It shows immaturity for you to hate a team because your sensibilities are offended by a poster on a forum.
I don't hate the Stormers. I hate their administration. And I am really disappointed in the futile supporters who have allowed the degeneration of a once proud union.

Meh! We are showing the rest of the country what real transformation is all about. Our schools are producing some fine homegrown talent and we are backing them. The Bulls don't have one home grown player of colour in their squad. Jake has assembled a very good team and won deservedly but I look forward to the day they start to take transformation seriously. The Sharks are a team for the future.

With all our boardroom drama we at least managed to beat the Sharks and not embarrass ourselves completely against the Bulls. Sharks didn’t even show up. Zero heart in that team. Seems like you can’t buy fighting spirit.

Must give them credit for at least try to run it. It took them two seasons to get it in Bosch head to pass the ball. But vok they were piss poor.

WP at least showed last week some fight, scoring 5 tries in the process.

They only running they did was to run away from the fight. It was a piss poor performance and one that left a bitter taste in the mouth.

In the year of a global pandemic and riots on the streets of Durban, we've made two Currie Cup finals and contributed 12 players to the Springboks.
