I love that someone made a diorama of what probably many of us experienced as boys!
Isn’t it compulsory for the shop owner to have a brown warehouse coat and one of those long grabby things to get
stuff down from the top shelves?
Oddly, there’s a local Singaporean guy who went to uni in the U.K. then came back and set up as the local dealer for Airfix, Hornby and Scalextric. His shop here is like a timewarp heaven!!

Nearly every afternoon, from September to March, a thunderstorm develops over the Tiwi Islands in Northern Australia. It happens so regularly that meteorologist refer to it by name—Hector. The cumulonimbus thundercloud appears at roughly 3 PM, and is said to be so reliable that one could set their clocks by him.

Looks like a lot of Tamiya kits there, so I suspect a lot of them will still be available for nostalgia seekers/Nazi armoured vehicle fetishists.

My great Uncle was sound/recording director/supervisor on lots of Korda's films. Never met him though.

Pretty sure it's the original Ferris from the 1893 Expo.
