6 Nations has sold 14% of the commercial rights to CVC for the next 5 years. Bye Bye 6N on terrestial TV then?
A decision on whether the Six Nations championship will continue to be broadcast on terrestrial television will be made “within weeks” following confirmation of a £365m five-year investment deal with the private equity firm CVC. Officials are insistent, however, that CVC are “a force for good” and will play a crucial role in broadening rugby union’s global popularity.
Having already bought stakes in Premiership Rugby and the Pro 14, CVC have purchased 14.3% of the Six Nations’ commercial rights, which will yield £95m over five years for the Rugby Football Union. The other home unions have been allocated lower amounts based on their relative audience share, with the Welsh Rugby Union receiving £51m and the Irish Rugby Football Union and Scottish Rugby Union benefiting to the tunes of £48m and £44.5m respectively.
They can't do that in France at least (Protected status).

I’m more relaxed if Prime get some of the games. They have (IIRC) 19m UK subscribers and a tenner a month is more feasible for people who would want to watch.
On the games today, I’ve been working with a client in Paris for the last few weeks. At least four times a week one of them will join the call an hour early, complain to my boss and his that I’m late, before performatively pretending not to understand what ‘London time’ is in the meeting set up.
Eddie, please, I need this one

Scottish fiddler Bruce MacGregor, former captain of Highland Rugby Club in Inverness, has written a tune called Doddie's Dream, it can be bought from Amazon or iTunes with the proceeds going to Doddie's foundation which funds research into MND.
Bruce apparently played alongside Doddie in the Scottish Students side

Ach, Italy are usually competitive in the first quarter/half, but I fear for them today.

Italy just look like a run kf the mill tier 2 team. USA/Canada etc would fancy their chances

Only going to get worse isn't it.
When you've got 4-5 defenders panicking against Adams alone on that wing it's a very very grim sign
It’s lucky that Wales don’t have a threat on the other wing or at fullback right enough.
Quite!
It's a bit sad that for the size of some of Italy's lumps on field they are fairly weak carriers.

I think they were looking at the wrong thing with Biggar, I thought the shoulder to the head at the ruck was more suspect

Totally agree, thought that was a blatant shoulder to the head, not even mentioned by the TMO or commentary team.

No issue with Italy getting reamed in the last 15/20, I’m not asking for miracles and don’t mind them losing. However this is getting beyond a joke, being this far off the pace undermines the integrity of the tournament
