Eddie’s power subs really do change the momentum.

My 62 year old mum could probably give Nowell a run for his money in the pace stakes.

Who else is on list of not quites?
Hey, I'll take we ruined Hill but Brookes has been disappointing pretty much wherever he's turned up.

He was good for Wasps. One to one scrummaging in Dai Young's kitchen clearly did something for him

Was going to post reply. Then just, sigh…..

Edit. Actually no. It just f’s everything up. Slow, slow, slow. The message spreads throughout the side. Just wrong for the supposed aims of fast and aggresive.

Considering the championships England have lost on points difference in the not too distant past, you'd think there might be a bit more urgency and intent here to run up a score, but not we're aimlessly kicking the ball and generally farting around.

Defence is a positive I guess. Youngs is Youngs, our subs used to IIRC add urgency and intensity. Now they kill our momentum every week. Win’s a win I guess

Do England get another win in this six Nations? Only one I could see is Wales if they play like they did against ireland, but I can't see them being that poor against us.

We're just a very average team under Jones.

You'd have him back in the national squad a mere 2 weeks into his return from a long injury layoff? He was bang average against Wasps yesterday.

I realise it's early days but given the furore surrounding him, Steward has been invisible in the 2 matches.

Well that isn't anything new. Ford should really just tell him to fuck off and retire from international duty. he's been pissed around by fuckwits his whole international career. Marcus Smith is damn lucky there isn't a limited bigger kicking 10 as an alternative to him at a similar age.

Not convinced - 90% of games for all teams v Italy turn ragged/turgid. France were the same last week

I think it's fair to say that the media took his good first few caps and went massively overboard with hype.

His lack of pace has been a bit of a problem, particularly in this game. Malins too. Might have been less of an issue if Radwan was on the wing.
