Always enjoy their podcasts. James Parsons in particular seems to have a good understanding of the game. They also, unlike the Breakdown, talk about stuff that most fans would be unaware of...

The Aussie version of The Good, the Bad and The Rugby was hilarious this week with a drunk Matt Giteau...

Yes, it's relatively intelligent rugby talk... and I wouldn't waste my time on the Breakdown. That crew seem to have sold their souls and given away whatever independent thought they had as a sweetener.

Looking at the Bok 23, the bomb squad is definitely back for this one. All the bomb squad is/was, is a 6/2 bench split with all the replacement forwards being capable of starting. Media (particularly in the NH) just started using it to refer to the Bok bench in general, even when it wasa 5/3 split and most of the bench obviously wasn't the same quality as the starting players. It was a bit annoying, but also interesting that they default feared Bok bench players.

This really is high quality though, a real bomb squad:
16 Malcolm Marx, 17 Thomas du Toit, 18 Vincent Koch, 19 RG Snyman, 20 Pieter-Steph du Toit, 21 Duane Vermeulen

... I'll be disappointed if the 2nd half is flat.

Me too. It's been a while since I've been so excited about watching it.

Got my kids' mini-rugby in the morning, then up to the clubhouse to watch the game.

I think I blocked that out. I don’t recall it.

I do remember us losing in that era, and we had to get some ELVs removed to be able to win again.

Nobody knows, he was Fostered out so he could be anywhere.

You could drop BB, play Jordan at 15 with Shaun Stevenson at wing and have DMac off the bench as cover for 10-15.
That would make for a freakin’ strong back line.

“The gentleman made a decision, he probably wants to honour his dad with this game, and you can’t ask for any better game than playing against the All Blacks. It will be very special with what he is going through. As a team, we just want to be there. We are sad with him, we are a family. We always try to make sure we perform as close to our best as we can.”

Its totally his decision, respect, but I would have been on the first flight home on tuesday to support my family.

For the rush defense used against the Aussies to work, the first rule is to actually make the tackle.

If we try to use the game plan used against the Aussies and we don't execute it perfectly, this is going to be a long day at the office

Men vs Kids here. Boks 10 yards off the pace. Maybe 15.
