Mitchell was held by the ankle there for me.
Yes, surprised that wasn't looked at again. Ref had a close view though.

Yeah. Poor miss from the TMO too.
Italy have to be sharper there too. You just know the All Blacks or Ireland would be politely in the ref's ear saying he was held to prompt them to check

If Henry Slade spot rushing is part of Felix's defensive plan, can we fire him now?

And that would work for them since the ref is probably on first name terms with them, not the case for Italian captains

It's the Ref's miss at the end of the day, but if they are in the his ear after that's absolutely getting looked at. No first names required

Not as much as I'd hoped, but 15 minutes of Finn Smith will hopefully be good.

Yeah very deliberate trip. What is the point of Daly? Tries hard in the air but doesn't win many, lacks any pace these days, and is a bit of a liability. Really odd selection, his boot can't be enough to keep him in the side.

Yes, he very clearly stuck his boot out when he knew he was beaten. Blatant and deserved the card.

It's a slightly odd choice, I reckon the official starts have been giving him some of Earl's carries. He was anonymous for the first 20 or so but played well after that, just don't think he was as good as Earl or Freeman.

That's a very disappointing finish. Failing to use a succession of penalties to score and then actually conceding.
