Great half by Fassi.
Still behind Le Roux and Willemse, but has some definite strengths and x factor. Hasn't counted himself out with these chances he has been getting at all. Can't see anyone else pushing past those three at fullback.
Louw and Tank were the others I was hoping to see something from. Didn't do badly but didn't see much from them either. I would be thinking about calling up a Du Preez twin and seeing what they can do at eightman.

I was always a big fan of JLdP, great player and versatile, could play 4 to 8. He always performed well for the boks, yet Rassie only messed with him. Dunno why. Dan never even got a chance. We can forget them I think.

Fassi has a very impressive try conversion rate in internationals
3 tries in 4 matches

Something wasn't right with the way they were ignored

Rassie picks the right players, not the best players.

PSdT kept them out of the team. That's why Sards don't like the world best player. Same with Willemse. He like only Tjarks.

Has anyone worked out how Moerat gets captain.
1 tackle
1 missed tackle
No metres gained.

Pretty happy with the ABs performance last night, especially the first half. Much improved right across the board.
My favourite moment of the test: Ardie's primal scream.

Still room for improvement, but things are heading in the right direction, pity I can't say the same for the Wobs who seem to be going from bad to worse.

The other player I'm not 100% convinced about is Marco van Staden. I've always liked him, but I feel like we're still waiting on a big performance from him.

Off topic I realize.
But what a coup for the Hollywood Bets Sharks to have the Springbok captain and enforcer representing SA Rugby at the Dricus fight. True Sharks ambassadors

Is Canan Moodie likely to come straight into the test 23? Love watching him play, but SA's hardly lacking good midfielders right now.

Nope, not likely. We have Mampimpi backup wing, AM backup 13, AE 12, Fassie backup 15.

Time to open Round 3. Springboks vs All Blacks, always a treat.

Cool, he played centre against us at Twickenham last year though.

I could have come down from Row 14, Seat 106 and played 13 against your lot on that evening.

We need Jaden Hendrikse back in the squad.
