Absolutely appalling effort. A team that finds it impossible to produce two games in a row.

Not true. Going backwards!ScarfaceClaw wrote: Sat Feb 12, 2022 4:16 pm Just static flat footed passing here. Scotland going nowhere.

Russell is hardly to blame for the massive number of stupid penalties. Wales centers put in good defensive shifts.ASMO wrote: Sat Feb 12, 2022 4:17 pm Well done Wales, flake Russell lives up to his name, he was utterly shit, worst player on the field today by some distance
The Welsh centres didn’t have to defend anything, we were so dull in attack all daypetej wrote: Sat Feb 12, 2022 4:21 pmRussell is hardly to blame for the massive number of stupid penalties. This. Dumb penalties and errors when Scotland needed to execute.petej wrote: Sat Feb 12, 2022 4:21 pmRussell is hardly to blame for the massive number of stupid penalties. Or the knock ons. Or the tactic of continually kicking straight to one of the best FBs in B&I. Didn’t understand that when their line out was flakey as fuck last week.petej wrote: Sat Feb 12, 2022 4:21 pmRussell is hardly to blame for the massive number of stupid penalties. Why are we surprised. It's a constant aspect of Townsend's tenure. He can put together an attacking team or a defensive team but not both, and zero consistency.
I thought Williams was pretty shite to be honest. As were their 2 wingers and 2 centres. And here we are. PatheticBiffer wrote: Sat Feb 12, 2022 4:24 pmOr the knock ons. I don’t think that’s true to be honest. There will always be an emotional surge when playing England but we have won in Wales, Paris and England for the first time in years the last couple of seasons. There is just a mental fragility we can’t shakePaddington Bear wrote: Sat Feb 12, 2022 4:49 pm Scotland strike me as a side still building success around beating England. We were lucky last week rather than good. Pack has been blown away two games running. Nel passed it, Fagerson snr and Sutherland going backwards, soft second rows and a back row that are so busy defending they are no longer competing at the breakdownPaddington Bear wrote: Sat Feb 12, 2022 4:49 pm Scotland strike me as a side still building success around beating England. His 50/22 in the first half completely stopped our momentum and led to points for Wales, when we could have been noising up their line out. Williams didn’t do much else exceptional but he was solid and always has to be considered a threat.Slick wrote: Sat Feb 12, 2022 4:51 pmI thought Williams was pretty shite to be honest. I'm not really. Any pre-match bravado was partly me trying to convince myself things would be different. There was always that fear they'd shite the bed.
I think they actually shit in the hallway before they even got to the bed. Mental fragility throughout the team.Jock42 wrote: Sat Feb 12, 2022 5:06 pmI'm not really.
