I am sure women cricket in SA is going to explode in the next few years. The top rugby schools only had athletics as mainstream summer sport, the boys played cricket. This will change now with the girls, the facilities and coaches are there already.

My Bredasdorp friends girl played for Boland u18 while she was still u13. She played with the boys cricket at Paarl Gim u14 but cop a lot of PT to keep playing and went the hockey route. She made the SA senior hockey team now. Watching her hitting the winning runs against Paarl Boys High. The Boishaaiers did not take that well.

England are pretty sure of a Eng/AU's final.

And, to be honest, we've always been their bunnies and they know it.

I'm not confident.

Yep the real cricket starts now. For us to make the semis is great. Anything more is a bonus.

Aus starting to crank up the scoring rate, 74 - 0 after 15 overs.

Consider the rate cranked. 154-0 after 27 but Windies are dropping dollies to ensure they chase 300. They have lost Mohamed to a hamstring tear as well.

Going from bad to worse for the Windies. Gifting the Aussies with boundaries now

Getting tonked. Our women have done well to get to the semis and no disgrace going out. Very little chance of chasing that score.
