There’s certainly more than a hint of the old amateur game (in a good way) from even the pro women’s teams. This is a game of movement after all

If only all men's team could play with even a modicum of the same level of skill and intelligence shown by the women.
This and this and then this again.

Roos made far too many errors conceding possession to be a candidate — in fact, she'd be just about the only one of the starting forwards who wouldn't be considered.

Fluhler though was great. As was Cocksedge.
Cocksedge gave away too much possession with kicks in the second half but had a good game otherwise

From the first match vs Wales where our scrum was demolished with disconcerting ease, it was an absolute revelation to see how well our scrum went against the mighty Orcs. Mike Cron and the lasses must have done some serious work.

Beautiful gesture by England 15 to run over and shake Fluhler's hand as she was leaving the field injured in 71st minutes.

It almost completely lacks the cynicism and bullshit that is now endemic in the men’s game, both on the pitch and in the stands

... and in the forums!

Japan looked a clueless rabble against England. Their useless fat cunt of a coach Jamie Joseph needs to be turfed. And Italy just beat Australia. Yet some reckon their useless fat cunt of a coach Rennie should have been given the ABs instead of Fizzing Fozz.
