ABs defence has been stingy as heck, very good. Apart from a couple of linebreaks they've given Argentina nothing

Cheers, no joy on phone with it unfortunately.

It just keeps popping open a google search window every time I click play.

And after clicking to remove the annoying countdown.

How did D-Mac go at 10?

Did R-Mo get a run?

I’ll have to catch the highlights.

Yep, he played very well...apart from his goalkicking.

I find with some of these sites you have to be persistent with closing pop ups and returning to your original tab.

I’m on nightshift this week with no chance of watching the game.

Naturally, I’m disappointed in the result.

Waiting for the full match link to drop on YouTube.
Strange how although lots of links have dropped there is nothing playable yet.
If it waa a NH match it would have dropped already.

Unfortunately my mates inverter wasn't working yesterday when we went around. So missed both matches. Only saw bits on my phone.

Was wondering how the Saffers felt about the team. Performances and tactics.
I was thinking before that it was like last RC. Nienaber gets to do his thing whilst Rassie prepared the other team. My boy Manie finally gets his shot . Jean Kleyn , Andre Esterhuizen , Willie and Williams.

Sards the Springboks played well. They dominate. Most pleasing was they played a running game. The odd player try to do a stupid kick. That Bok backline look full of strike power which I think surprised the Wallabies.

The final is coming up.

How in the actual fuck did Sam Cane ever think this would be a good idea??

Arguably the most effective thing he's done on a rugby field.

Apparently, this was after full time? If so I guess that changes the dynamic a little but I don't have a problem with it myself. If someone wants to invade the pitch then they abandon any pretense of protection from their own actions.

Nah, it's not up to the players to get involved, and Cane went out of his way to kick the guy. Not cool.

He's since apologised, but this brain fart is an unwelcome distraction from the ABs' performance.

You mean the NZ match.

Yeah. Whoever wins that wins the RC.

I doubt NZ will have it so easy against a structured defense.
Still going to be a tough one.

He's arrogant and thin skinned, which puts his constant media soundbites in a different light, none of it comes from a place of strength and confidence it's instead all about weakness and insecurity. He tried to force himself to laugh it off there, but couldn't.

13 Bok players went to NZ early, other Bok players are out injured. It wasn't a pure B team because there were still quite a few good enough for the XV/23 in a full strength RWC match. But saying there's never been a Bok B team and all the rest is just a bullshit coping mechanism.

Imagine being called a "smart arse" by Jones whilst he's pointing at you and walking towards you (squaring up?), he is the biggest "smart arse" in rugby. What a doos. Hilarious.

Watching AB v Argies. Narawa’s defence vs Clarke the Turnstile is just farcical.

Cant blame him. He thought it was a B team because most of the team that beat England last year is in NZ already.

I always like Eddie Jones till this comment. He should have answered with a joke on himself rather than snapping at the journalist.
He asked for it with that arrogant stance.

Eddie telling someone else not to be a smart arse without a hint of irony is one the most absurdly unself-aware utterances you'll hear this side of objectionables like Trump or Musk.

Listening again it's Jones saying "you should have more respect mate, you should have more respect ... show some respect".

It's always a massive red flag when someone in a position of authority is literally demanding respect, what they're always really demanding is deference. It's always the final move to avoid scrutiny/responsibility.

Have to wonder if there's something in his psychology that has stopped his teams going all the way, they always seem to be nearly sides that do well at the start and fade away the longer he's head coach. For me the clue about coaches is the assistants they pick, Jones seems to go for assistants who are no threat to him and therefore aren't adding much. All the best coaches pick assistants stronger than them in some or many areas, after a few years there's a team of coaches all on about the same level. It's why Jake White remains better than Jones in my book.

Found links at rugby24

Manie was lucky he wasn't under pressure that first half. Bit wobbly. But his passing is crisp.
He needs to start against NZ. Andre the giant had a big first half. Outstanding game. Canaan is still a lighty but will improve. Wilie has to start vs NZ. World class
Overall. Very happy with the first half. Will catch second half after dinner

Kleyn needs to control the ball. We don't swat the ball down to our scrumhalf and cough up possession in the process. He did contest well tho
