Saints have signed Italian loosehead Danilo Fischetti
I guess they probably need an additional experienced loosehead.
Shame they've released young Tarek Haffar. Thought he was a very promising prospect.

Aaaah! Hadn't heard that. Happy for him to stay in the Prem even with the "enemy" as I think he is a potential England prospect

He scored a couple of tries.
There are 6 Saints lads in the wider squad. As there should be having won the Academy Championship so convincingly

I know they claim Rodd, Dingwall and F.Smith. Vaguely recall something about Roebuck being Scottish qualified.

To be fair, surname like "Pater" is just wasted in England, so we'll have him. Also Henry Laidlow and Hugh Shields. Not interested in an Oscar Appleby or Lumley and a Branch-Holland or Ogden-Metherell will not fit in.

Oh come on we’ve surely all met a Sloaney Caledonian Club type with a double barrelled name who has a father that employs said gamekeeper, and an ancestor who was tragically struck down with tummy ache the morning of Culloden

Well something needs to happen. I'm not sure the current admin have it within them to come up with anything worthwhile or workable, but the game is not in rude health. It cannot sustain a second tier as vibrant as the ProD2, which is what's needed if we're going to persist with the idea of promotion and relegation. The Premiership desperately needs to get back up to 12 teams asap.
