it's 43-over game now. Play will resume at 3.15pm. Three bowlers can bowl a maximum of nine overs and two can bowl a maximum of eight.

Well, according to one of them, Markram is too low to field effectively in the slips and the other feels that his hands are in the wrong position.

They were also unaware that you can't change the field for a no ball.

Apart from that, they were brilliant.

Scratch England side bowl Pakistan out for 141 in 35 overs
Aye - it is impressive - but it is a Pakistan side that has been in quarantine, had no warm up matches against a side of folk that have been playing country cricket and various formats in the conditions for months.

I think that this result was pretty much on the cards - but we should all inhale loudly if they run through them in the next match. Cause that suggests that England have a serious depth of talent in the game.

Mahmood was very impressive though.
Word. Pakistan are also notorious for getting skittled in the opening game of any series.
Well the second ODI showed that England's depth is genuine. In English conditions their second string bowling attack is a feckin force.

Australia lose the third T20I and with it, the series.

Aus elected to bat, but were 141 for 6 in their 20.

Windies took less than 15 overs to knock off the runs.

What has happened to Australian cricket?

You can change the field for a no ball if the batsmen ran a run

Which they didn't.

SA win the toss and insert Ireland.

The bad news for Ireland is that Nortje comes in for Ngidi.

Commentators mocking the Saffer fielders.

"Good at fielding, just not very good at catching".

Stirling dropped at second slip by Markram.

Miller parries the cut but can't hold onto the parried ball.

Mockery justified as Rabada shells the fourth catch dropped so far this innings.

This has been a pretty poor performance from the South Africas.

4 dropped catches and some indifferent bowling.

We need wickets.

Balbirnie get a century.

Well done to him, but we have been pants in the field.

Bavuma spoils the day to catch Balbirnie at deep mid off.

We finally take a catch and Rabada gets a wicket.

Very poor there from Verrynne.

I make that 2 dropped catches and a missed stumping.

Make that 3. Moved very late for that gloved ball.

I think what it is, is that Ireland are ahead in the ODI matches table; but we've played 10 games, & SA have only played a handful

This game kinda illustrates why Ireland has been fighting to get test status, for so long.

For any side in the lower tier to improve; they have to games playing against better sides; & take the beatings, so they can improve.

We're justifiably ranked lower than the Afghans; but at least our trajectory is now going back in the right direction.
