I see all the big boys won on the first weekend, as expected.
EP reinforcing my position on them, they have no right to even be playing in this competition. They should accept their position as a feeder union until they can sort their shit out.
Ditto week 2.

After watching the $harks play yesterday
Their reserve props are weak
Both their hookers are dodgy at throwing in
Grant and Che are both better than Nohamba
Whatever the question was, Chait is not the answer
Fasi isn't living up to his potential / the hype created about him.

fair enough, I'll take that on the chin.
Didn't get to see the match in the end as we had a power cut. But sounds like a good match.
But my point on EP still stands. Shipping 50 points cannot be seen as progress.

re the props J H Meyer is the worst of the lot.even worse than Kumbirai imo. At least Kumbirai is a carrying option. Meyer is weak and unathletic and technically very average at scrum time.
Fassi is still the best fullback in SA after Willie. Better than Gelant, Willemse et al imo.
Agree about Nohamba.
Chait - tough ask to judge on one match. He was great for maties behind a dominant pack surrounded by stars. But yeah wouldn't say he has the upside of a Pollard or von Wolhuter.
Also can we stop referring to individuals as POC. Its not cool. Kumbirai may be kak at the mo and may never develop. But its a bit dehumanizing to constantly drone on about. We all know the reality on the ground in this country, time to accept and move on. Comment not aimed at you Chilli.

Chilli enjoys making early calls on players. I think his last one was Thomas du Toit whom he rated very low.

At tighthead? He is a deckchair.
At Loosehead he is a good scrummager.

It would be, but Junkies [on recent form] doesn't deserve to be in the Bok squad.

Went backwards in the CC Final
Was bullied by Ali Vermaak in the 1/4 final
Didn't play again Dylan Smith of the Lions
Hardly the form 3

This Cheetahs team is pretty shit if you consider we're basically playing our firsts against a bunch of school kids and we're just barely beating them.

Scrumming is a 8 man job. Thomas isn't helped by having Hyron "leg day skipped" Andrews in the engine room.

I disagree. Yes he had a couple of tough outings early in the season but he steadily improved. And his work outside of the scrum has always been good like tackles, offloads and jackles.
But you've back this horse so I'm not going to change your mind. Continue bashing him by all means. I'm sure he's devastated by your critique.

They are playing rugby.................................................I am 100% sure that the players and their supporters want their teams to win.
It's there to test player fitness, depth and get the players used to contact again. WP are giving all the assistant coaches a go as head coach. Winning would be nice, but it's far from being the main goal. This is even lower than Superhero Sunday.

I agree with AF on Thomas Tank. In fatty age he is still a young red wine. He improve all the time and will be a monster in a year or two. Willing to learn the trade at both sides. Never easy.
