I know. He used to stand out in every game. Now he’s just part of the background.
Ireland in NZ
Again i always find that really stupid by any team. 2 rucks with Irish forwards hanging off the back just waiting for the ball to come back and the ABs turn them both over. Win the f in ball before you think you’re Dan Carter.

Looks like around the 25 minute mark the AB players suddenly realized they are playing a test match today. Looking a lot more like we would expect from them. The forwards are starting to get more stuck in now as well.

No Ireland are the best team ever, they say so. They'll still win.

Yeah, all composure gone.
Expected them to be tired, but didn't expect them to run out of steam that early after an impressive start.
Bad luck in the run of the ball as well. Shame, looked like it could be an interesting test match.

- the pitch is shit
- the ref is missing loads including neck rolls by ABs
- the TMO is bias (clear knock on apparently)
They don’t seem to have changed.

Things looked worrying early but a period of quicker ball after some luck has helped. Ireland have been their own worst enemies after the first 15 minutes.
Looked fine to meBlackmac wrote: Sat Jul 02, 2022 7:53 am Clearly backwards. In bloody sure it wasn't and the side angle they have finally shown after the decision confirms it.

It went back from hand to ground then bounced up, and green knocked it forward afterwards.

No. Smith's hand was deliberately guiding the ball backwards. Very composed.Blackmac wrote: Sat Jul 02, 2022 7:53 am Clearly backwards. In bloody sure it wasn't and the side angle they have finally shown after the decision confirms it.

Yeah, Smith was very smart, got his hand in front of the ball to scoop it backwards. Clearly did not go forward.convoluted wrote: Sat Jul 02, 2022 7:58 amNo. Smith's hand was deliberately guiding the ball backwards. How many more HIAs can Sexton take?
POM was the player who knocked the ball into the in-goal area. Shame as he has been playing really well, in everything and he was the only one to chase Reece on his turnover try.Ymx wrote: Sat Jul 02, 2022 7:57 amLooked fine to meBlackmac wrote: Sat Jul 02, 2022 7:53 am Clearly backwards. I hope he doesn’t live to regret playing so long, but he has had a lot of head knocks
He has been a really positive surprise.Gumboot wrote: Sat Jul 02, 2022 8:08 am Bowers is playing well - holding his own in the scrum against a world class tighthead, tackling hard, handling safely, carrying the ball low and hard. There's a lot to like in his game.
