Saw that earlier from Hill, there was a slap to the face too. He's lost his head and needs to be taken off the pitch.
yep, saw the slap too earlier & was surprised none of the officials saw it

Swains off for that, but Hill should be too - grasped the head, pulled it, twisted it and continued.

That's fucking moronic from the Aussie lock. Not sure how he can look confused by being red carded for a headbutt.
Well handled by the ref to get the right result. It seemed for a moment as if Hill would get away without a yellow.

Hill is lucky as hell there. Headbutt is a red though. Think Hill should have one too now though, since he slapped to the face.
The headbutt wasn't instant retaliation, it was after the event.

Yes, but that side contained some decent Fre players and this Aus side is meehhhh and already lost 3 key players (both tight heads and Convict).

Sadly I don't think there's anything that'll meet the standard.
Hate seeing that level of shithousery rewarded. It's only good if it's funny (cf Marler on Haskell)

So to recap: physically on top for most of the half. Lots of territory and possession. Opposition have lost multiple players to injury and look a rabble.
And it's 6-6 at half time. Nice job Eddie, really got them purring.

I think it was his ball to be honest, Aussie player was lying on the ball in effectively the squeezeball position, where Curry doesn't have to be on the ball in that situation, just working on the aussie player lifting, which he was.

Well, it's played pretty much as expected then.
Straws for Eng but Farrell missed a sitter and the scrum pen against Genge was the wrong way.

That was just two locks exchanging alpha vibes, no malice, no danger. Two yellows at most but mostly just needs a word from the ref to not be twats.

Agree. Was thinking the same. Made no attempt to place the ball and simply lay on it like a male walrus on a cow.

Marchant seems to be playing on the wing despite shirt number and it's made it to him there plenty. In true England fashion he had very little time or space when it did get there and so he's mainly just had to get tackled and recycle.
