Interesting stat Sharks have won 4 out 5 of their last away games in both formats
Why not 5 out of 5?
That's pretty much the norm for the Sharks. It's at home where they struggle. They would invariably lose to 1 team on tour and it would be a tough game. That's when we were aligned to the SH. That's why I enjoyed Soup rugby so much. It's tough as nails to humble the Kiwis at home. And it's a more exciting match generally than up north. You lose focus and suddenly they have 60 on you. Yeah it's happened to the Sharks at times. Especially the Crusaders.

Ok game from the Sharks. Just remember these boys are playing to get into the URC squad. I thought Bohli had a good game. Worked very hard. But this is probably his level. I was keeping an eye on Boeta and Inny . Boeta looked like he really lacks confidence. But his kicks at post were ok. At URC level they all have to go over. But a HUGE improvement. I think the coaching squad takes the boys with problems aside and gives them extra coaching. It definitely shows in Bosch's tackling and Boetas kicking. I also think it's great that they take them out the system for awhile and slowly let them build confidence in the CC before throwing them into the URC. Gives me confidence in our coaching structures.

A pretty awful game to watch. Sharks by far the better team, but didn't seem interested in making an effort. They just seemed happy with bullying them up front, staying in their half and picking up the easy points. I haven't seen a scrum get demolished like that in a long time, it was borderline unsafe to continue.
At least the Pumas put in a good effort, and scored a great try.
I forgot what an excellent player James Venter is. Great to see a player who has such a good tackling technique, instead of running chest-first like so many other players do.
I really like Gumede. I think he could turn into a great 8.

That's basically your top 4.
The rest are far off. At least they are all on equal games now.
Griquas have the Lions next , basically 5 points.
Cheetahs have WP.....another full house for Cheetahs
Bulls vs Sharks will be a cracker

Komaan Chilli. Paarwater have no idea selecting that midfield. We have depth but he stcik with overrated Smith and who ever. JdJ is back so he have Prinsloo, du Plessis and JdJ. Frans will kill these youngster. You have a solid experience pack compare to our youngsters. Our back 3 are midgets, maybe dangerous.
If Kade Wolhuter get that backline firing, he can go straight back to the Stormers
Jake White overplay his URC team.

The Cheetahs vs WP game is poor. Lots of handling errors. Only that massive penalty by Wolhuter the difference.
