Fantastic to have a rugby game to watch at 10am on a Wednesday! Always loved North Harbour as a Saffer fan. Bad boys Ron Cribb and Troy Flavell and Anthony Tuitavake and Eric Rush in the backs were my favourites.

Yes, but not quite good enough. Ideal for both of us.

These storm weeks are tough — both teams were missing a number of regular starters. Canty were lucky they could retain experience by reintroducing the likes of the Punivais and holding off on the newbies until very late in the game.

A lot to like about that boy isn't there Gumboot? He's a serious good young player, I think also with Tyrone Thompson we see a couple of good young hookers, though at this stage, Bell looks to have a little higher ceiling to his game.

Yep, he's a fine young player, Dan. His defence still needs some work, but the rest of his game is top notch.

There is one thing I hate about NZ rugby. The ****ing annoying use of music every time there is a stoppage. Where TF did that ever come from?

Just watching the highlights of Northland's win over Auckland. Tuivasa-Sheck's defence still needs improving - he was done like a dinner in the lead-up to the Northland reserve hooker's try.
