I'd never heard of 'Kid Cities' until seeing this. Looks like it was a lot of fun (or completely shit if you got stuck in a drone job - the quotes from kids in this were proper LOL stuff!).

It'd be interesting to learn more about 'Adult Night' ... can imagine it was even more chaos than when the kids ran amok. When I worked at a YMCA camp, we also ran corporate retreats through the ropes/obstacle courses and there was always some dude trying, and often failing, to be funny (and a few people getting flirty! ). Hell, forget escape rooms and axe throwing... sign me up for one of these now!

I always answer, since I get calls about new kids joining rugby. However since the only scams I seem to get are from my "network" I just ask them which network, and they never get it right. I presume because I'm with ID, and they generally say 3.

That really sucks, I'm so sorry.

I've lost 2 friends to brain cancer in the last 3 years. In both cases the last stages went pretty quickly.

Two bakers and a shopping centre cleaner were tied up and held at gunpoint during an early morning armed robbery in the small town of Yarram, in Victoria's east.

Staff at Yarram Plaza Hot Bread were busy preparing for the day ahead when the male and female assailants entered the plaza complex about 4.15am.

It's believed the offenders were waiting for the Plaza's cleaner to come out and empty the bins before they attacked.

"They grabbed him from there and took him past the front of the bakery by gunpoint to the ATM machine and tried to get into that," said bakery owner Kathryn Ireland.

After unsuccessfully trying to steal cash from both the ATM and bakery register, the attackers fled the scene with two pies.

"All they took was two pies," Ms Ireland said.

Ms Ireland said the incident was a timely reminder of the need for a more regular police presence in the town.

"We did, unfortunately, have to wait a very long period for the police to turn up because there was no-one on call here at the time," she said.

"They had to come from Sale, through kangaroo-infested roads."

Made me laugh like a fucking drain earlier when he told me that last night he had a fight with a kangaroo in the car park and it knocked him clean out because in his words it was "an angry Australian cunt" he totally believes it to be true.

His mind is like a jigsaw puzzle with loads of pieces missing which he just fills with random stuff....it makes for some truly hilarious conversations.

Ones you'll remember.

100% agree, after he is gone i plan to volunteer here in some way...awesome people to a person.
