What a bizarre choice -- a little grubber kick by the Bay hot on attack and time up. Canterbury clear it to touch and take the win.

And that's how it ends.
Why on earth did the Bay player kick that??

That was a quality game, and a really good fight back from Canterbury.

I thought they may have left it a wee bit too late.

Way to blow a game Hawkes. Not sure why there seemed no suitable sub for McLutchie either.

Amazing TMO decision to award a try to Garden-Bachop after a superb covering tackle in the corner by Reece.

Waikato leading 20 - 10 with 2H in’s left, in a highly entertaining game.
RTS created one try with fancy footwork but the lads from the Tron are looking good

Magpies stretching the lead, now out to 45 - 17 after 60 minutes. Weber is playing very well, as Mikaele-Tu’u and Flanders

The Bay powering on to a lead of 62 - 24 with five minutes to go. Mikaele-Tu’u converts the latest try in his 50th match for the Bay.

Not the NPC but in Heartland rugby, Buller score with the last move of the game to win in the Rundle Cup match vs West Coast.
Buller's coach is a lad who played for my rugby club here for a couple of seasons in the early-2000s so it is great to see his team doing well.
Here is a great post-match interview.

Yes, I refer particularly to TJP

Capitalists ahead 26-14 at HT.
Think I've asked this before, but does anyone know if Henry Bell and George Bell are related?

Neither can I, but they look similar and they're about the same size and close in age...

I'm usually in favour of innocent until proven guilty, but in this case that's more than enough evidence for me.
