Sure. But he does it a lot and has managed to KO himself once and injure people zero times, from memory. What surprises me here is people wanking on on the basis of that very confusing clip where he is very obviously not diving at someone's feet. It's actually hard to tell exactly how the player is tackled.
On the face of it that feels true, but... he has nearly 40 caps plus 3 Lions Tests plus god knows how many matches for Exeter. How many 'errors' has he made? A handful where he's not used his arms. Why fanboi? It's the truth. I'm not a big fan of the technique, but it's legal, and considering the amount he's done it, seemingly safe enough.

Oh for sure. It is a little strange that people have such a visceral reaction to tackles aimed at the legs...
