Charles Fortune.

Yes, the best. Gerhard Spiekeries Viviers rugby.
Agreed. Viviers was the best rugby commentator.
I also like Kim Shippey from a long time ago.

Spiekeries did boxing as well. His biggest mistake was that he was very passionate about SA. When you watch the boxing afterwards it seem that he had it wrong. According to him Pierre Fourie dominate Bob Foster.
After getting TV in the 70s we usually used his radio commentary and switch off the TV sound. He actually beats the TV picture with his speed.

Scrum penalty after scrum penalty after scrum penalty. All they need is Demirti Katrikillis to kick every penalty and we back to the Stormers under AC.

Meh. The much vaunted Cheaters try scoring machine needed a moment of magic from one player to get over the try line.
Stomps under AC were shite on defence, this team tackles everything stukkend

Stormers are top try scorers in the competition with the Bulls.
Sharks rely on their high kick and charge tactics from their 9 & 10.

Yep. Stormers under AC conceded the fewest tries in the tournament...but also scored the fewest. Don’t think I’ve ever seen that before or since.
Nienaber was actually the Stormers’ Defense Couch at the time. Boks currently use the next iteration of that same defensive plan he developed back then.

Sharks will have to play to a standard we're yet to see from them in this godawful Unlocked competition.
We have to start with Notche, and I'd even put Dylan Richardson on the flank ahead of Venter based on current form.
I can only hope Am is back for this one to give our backline some oomph. I'd start with Nkosi and Tambwe on the wings, and it looks like we'll have to persist with Libbok at 15.
If the Sharks can't front-up to that Stormers pack, then it will be lights-out very early on.

True, last time in Durban our forwards cost us.
They dominate the scrums and lineouts and we just could not escape the physical challenge. vd Mest is important to them in that regard.
Going to be a long afternoon.

.On the injury front, Dobson confirmed that regular captain and loose forward Siya Kolisi is well on his way back and should be available within the next two weeks, while wing Seabelo Senatla and loose forward Jaco Coetzee are also recovering well. Wing Sergeal Petersen has a couple of weeks of recovery left, while loose forward Nama Xaba is still going to be out for a while.

Interesting rule
.As things stand now, the Bulls - who are top of the Super Rugby Unlocked log with 19 points - will have to lose their game against the Pumas in order for the winner of the Stormers-Sharks game (both on 17) to take the trophy or, and this is where the integrity of the competition could be questioned, if the Bulls game is cancelled (which would then be declared a draw and give them two points), the winner of the Stormers-Sharks match will take the trophy, as normal competition rules apply. The winner of the competition is determined by whoever secures the most wins, despite the Bulls’ far superior points difference (and the fact that a cancelled game would be through no fault of their own).

I'm not very confident about this game, we're getting there, but still a long way to go. As far as WP/Stormers go, a game against the saarkies is not a game we put much value on, I can see Dobson playing our second stringers to get some gametime.

True, but remember, they measure themselves against us. They don't worry about the title and trophy at the end, they just want to beat the Stormers. Similar to Eddie Jones training Japan for years just to beat the Boks.
It's tough to defend against that. For them, it's the Alpha and the Omega, for us, it's Saturday.

Pretty much....Shut down Bosch and run at him all game and with all the missed tackles and him rattled so he cant make his kicks at post the Stormers are sorted.
Also scrum and maul the Sharks to death.

We have to consider the players welfare....I know it sucks not being able to play the champs , but its our right as SR 2020 champs to tell the rest of the teams here to vokkof and wait until we are ready.....its still our honour....we dont give a vok if anyone gets upset....the champs will decide when we play again..
