I prefer my approach! Though out of the 20 syndicate tickets I was part of, there wasn't a single winner! Was hoping for a little extra there, but ah well.

My weekend woodworking has paid for a retirement home on the beach. High end furniture and stuff for my bro in law who is an architect. Helps that the wealthy Germans and poms will pay silly money for a dining room table.

No real money in it but in Oz, I can defray losses against tax. Pays for my trips to Japan as well
