Zoom isn't great with small kids. He wants his daughter to spend real time with her grandparents before they depart this mortal coil.
Perhaps he just doesn't want to live in Ireland.
Millions dont.....

"Lockdown has been tough on the expat players". Please listen to yourself. He is payed 100s of thousands of dollars to play rugby for fucksake. Being asked to sit quietly on your couch is not fucking hard. No one is shooting at you. You have a roof over your head and food in your belly. Soft, selfish, greedy and dumb. If you werent you would be like the ANZACS.
Leading the world and loving normality.
Right off the the pub for a steak and beer.....
Do you have a Saffer wife?
Please. You and the Northern Hemisphere countries through a collection of corrupt, greedy and inept politicians, allied with a selfish, narcissistic population have imposed these lockdown on yourselves.
On yourselves. And then you all cry about how hard it is like little children. I was bringing some common sense to the equation. However looking at SA and Europe's performance that is a quality sorely lacking in your societies. No wonder so many of you want to escape and live in Oz or NZ.
Thing is we don't want refugees from failed states. We have enough of them already.
Sort your own countries out. You know the one so many of you profess to love but in actuality would trade in a flash if only you could get Permanent Residency in ours.
We are full.
Aren't you called Convicts?

Oh diddums. Truth hurts hey? Well that is your problem. A lack of self reflection is what has bought your nations to where they are today.
A pitiful record against your rugby superiors. And an absolute criminal disaster re Covid.
Admit the truth.
You really are just a bit shit arent you
I was making a joke at Slick's expense. Perhaps spend a little more time reading, and a lot more time not posting.
Pardon me. I was replying to SaintK.
Thanks, Yes we really must self-reflect some more
Now fuck off and when you've fucked off, you can fuck off some more

I have also just calculatedit is now longer since I last had a pint of Guinness before this lockdown than it was in the first lockdown

Had that Aussie twonk on ignore since day 1. Very tiresome.
Back to Stander - I don’t get why Dan Leo’s getting all upset about this.
“Congrats on a great career CJ,” he wrote about Stander on Twitter. “But in my mind, someone getting residency after three years, making a national team and then moving back home as soon as they retire makes a mockery of the game far more than Pacific Island heritage players wanting to turn out after a stand down period.”
Just don’t see the comparison tbh

There is a difference between heritage and roots.
CJ and his wife are born and bred South African not heritage South African.
Dan Leo is just vokken stupid.

He went to an agri school they usually end up Boere.
If he will play/coach at a lower level it will be bonus for rugby.

I was thinking more that what a qualified player chooses to do after retirement has little to do with a player who’s already been capped by one country, wanting to qualify for a 2nd country.
That’s the comparison Leo tweeted about, but I just don’t see the parallel

Leo tends to make tenuous claims that serve his own PI agenda. He's a big voice when it comes to player welfare which is noble but then complains about Stander's career/life plans after he retires from rugby early. Leo essentially wants Samoans who have flogged their guts out for the All Blacks to then flog them out for longer, virtually for free, for Samoa.

I remember when he made his return to PR and he had a reputation as a decent troll. Didn't take long to overturn that as he was a ferocious bore.
On a similar level to that saffer lad who got put in the sandbox at CPR with the promise that if he said anything vaguely amusing, even once, he'd be let out. Still there AFAIK.

His wife and kid are back in SA since Xmas.
Well, that's his choice if he decides to merc at the expense of seeing his own children.
Apparently much criticism in Ireland over this particular case of blatant merc-ing?
