The boys need some bumps to get them battle hardened.

Only worried about Pollard, PSDT, Willie and the two locks. We have enough depth in other positions.

Lineout looking good, but mauls are a bit fragile.

A bit of a worry yes, but always an area where Georgia was going to be very strong.

More worried about our discipline which has been very poor.

It looks like the Boks are very under coached and needs some leadership when it comes to discipline.

We need a Laws thread but that early shove by South Africa in the scrum made me think...

If a team gets a scrum penalty and elects to take another scrum then the scrum should be moved forward at least 10m toward the opposition tryline. There is no real penalty if the team transgressing just get to contest another scrum in the same place.

Thoughts?

It's the European superstars. You wouldn't think they need coaching

LOL, classic Willie…does something amazing, gets carried away, and tries something stupid. Sometimes it works and he looks like a genius, sometimes he fluffs it and looks like an idiot.

Love that guy.

It was a free kick.

In general terms, a team doesn't have to scrum again, they can take a lineout, or a tap, or anything else they fancy.

I like the concept and the idea in theory, but practical application has challenges me thinks. Marching both packs backwards and resetting the scrums is going to chew up a lot of time.

Willie L has played recently and he’s kicked it out on the full from an attacking position twice

I expected it to be sloppy and disjointed, but it’s been quite disappointing despite my low expectations.

There is a lack of focus, lack of intensity and lack of basic execution.

Boks always look lackluster when playing minnow nations. For some reason they only perform when they are really fired up and want to batter the opposition. Not feeling that today and it’s showing.

Hopefully a halftime kick up the backside will help.
