Both this and the Northland/Tasman games were great. Much needed relief from the 2 sh*te T14 games I endured.Enzedder wrote: Sun Sep 19, 2021 3:28 am This a great game to watch. Tit for tat since kick-off really

Tasman hosts Waikato tonight - 10 mins to kick off.
Fainga'anuku's such a frustrating player to watch. So talented, but so sloppy on defence and with his ball retention at times.Kiwias wrote: Fri Sep 24, 2021 7:37 am Waikato find a higher gear and have just scored their second try, again from a Mako mistake.

Tasman making a real hash of this.
Yep, odds stacked against them. I'm a neutral so gotta side with the plucky underdogs - go, Mooloo!

Tasman defending optional?
mixed emotions for this match. Born in the Waikato but Tasman are in Crusader territory.Gumboot wrote: Fri Sep 24, 2021 8:08 amYep, odds stacked against them. I'm a neutral so gotta side with the plucky underdogs - go, Mooloo!

I thought Tasman were coming back with 2 quick tries but we have scored again when we got back to 15 aside (with a refs error helping).
39- 22 with the hooter sounding but Tasman can still get a BP. Nope, that's it. Chuffed with that result

More than the guts in defence. They were lethal on attack. Best 80 minute performance I can recall from an NPC side in years.
True, they were great on attack as well. Top performance.Torquemada 1420 wrote: Fri Sep 24, 2021 9:00 amMore than the guts in defence. They were lethal on attack. Best 80 minute performance I can recall from an NPC side in years.

This afternoon's menu features Manawatu hosting Northland at 2:05pm and Southland hosting Canterbury at 4:05pm.
Gonna to be a bit strange watching the likes of Aaron Smith and Sam Whitelock running out for their provinces a few hours before the ABs play the Boks.
