The gut on that kid! He played the full 80 minutes which is impressive. Conditioning coach probably just gave up on him. He's been like that since playing at St Stithians. He just keeps being selected SA Schools, SA u20 and now captain of the Lions. Hasn't lost a kilo.

At this rate they'll pick him for the Boks and we'll be the laughing stock of the rugby world.

Accuweather says 24 degrees on Wednesday in Cape Town. Amazing how that South Easterly wind can cool the peninsula down. So maybe I'll do a lunch potjie and set up a TV outside to watch the cricket. Drink non-alcoholic cocktails until rugby time.
