Next up England. We are third on the log but with one game in hand on NZ, who play Australia next.

We need to step up our batting.

223 is not a total that should be successfully defended.

England will fancy themselves for the bonus point against us. If they are playing bonus points? Either way, they'll fancy improving their NRR.

Lizelle Lee is due a big one. She's such a destructive batter when she gets going. Dane van Niekerk is a big loss. She's always been a dependable middle order batter with BMT. Mignon du Preez also due some runs.

I thought the commentator had just gone a bit crude for prime time in the India vs West Indies match. It turns out she’d just said “a simple catch for Connell.”

The India vs West Indies game is shaping up to be a good one. I had wondered how the West Indies would go chasing (and particularly the 300+ total set), but at 100-0 after 12, it seems, quite well.

Kiwis slightly ahead at 61/3 after 16 overs but then I see Perry and Mooney at the crease. The next 2 are world class as well so we are not even half way thru their batting

99-3 after 26. A couple of wickets needed here as these two are starting to look well set.

NZ 35-5 chasing 270.

The players and net run rate are taking a hammering.

73-7.

Small targets from here - like can we make 100 and avoid the hat trick next over :eh:.

Pakistan Vs Bangladesh looked to be a doddle walkover for Pakistan. Chasing 235 they were 180 for 2 - now 186/6

Need 48 off 37. Looks like there is a runout now - yep, 7 down now

Sidra Amin watching it all from the other end gets to 100*

Strange being happy to just block it out but it might pay off.

10 needed from 10 and a big review. My first thought was going down.

Edit: nope, hitting leg.
